Fall 2025 QES Cohort Reflective Conversation

In Summer & Fall 2025, Eyram Gyimah and Mira Azzasofiya from the University of Auckland joined us for 60 days on the University of Calgary main campus. With a slightly overlapping schedule, Sharon Sajan-Thomas and Steven Sheppard from the University of Calgary travelled to the University of Auckland to spend 60 days there. All four students participated in community engagement opportunities, research initiatives, and leadership activities which focused on community resilience and education in adaptation, response and resilience to a changing climate, taking into account diversity and inclusion of identities and perspectives.

Near the end of their experience, we got together in-person and on Zoom to have a reflective conversation about their experiences so far. Listen to their Reflective Conversation on YuJa here. It is just over 60 minutes because they had so many excellent reflections and experiences to share.
